Die App informiert den Nutzer über weltweite Aktionen von Sea Shepherd und über geplante Events deutschlandweit. Der Nutzer kann sich darüber hinaus über die Organisation informieren, in dem er sich Bildergalerien oder Videos zu vergangenen Operationen anschaut, sich über die Geschichte informiert oder über eingesetzte Flotten und Kleinboote auf den Weltmeeren. Die Sea Shepherd-App bietet die Möglichkeit, über den Online-Shop verschiedene Produkte, wie T-Shirts, Tassen und Co. zu bestellen. Eine der wohl wichtigsten Funktionen der App ist der Punkt "Spenden". Die Meeresschutzorganisation Sea Shepherd finanziert sich lediglich über Spendengelder und ist somit auf jeden Cent angewiesen.
